To ensure all residents are accountable for their own usage (or wastage) of water & electricity and that the benefit of saving efforts go directly to those making the effort, every unit at Time Square is equipped with separate prepaid electricity and water meters.
Electricity & Water vending is done by two separate providers.
The management and maintenance of the electricity meters and the vending of electricity is outsourced to Power Measurement & Distribution CC.
Tokens can be purchased via most prepaid systems using EasyPay including most Online Banking, SnapScan, Pick n' Pay and Petrol Stations.

The water metering and vending is outsourced to NUSCO
Tokens can be purchased anywhere you can purchase prepaid tokens for electricity. You simply buy "electricity" using the water meter number and load the token on the water meter.
Your meter number is either writen on the hand-held device, or can be retrived via the display. Using an invalid meter number will prevent purchasing of a token, this is a good test if you have the correct number.
There are unfortunately several different types of hand-held units and these change as new models are issued. Please look closely at the device for markings and instructions on how to use your specific model.
