Time Square is fully connected and cabled for high speed fiber internet access.
Time Square has appointed Comtel Communications to install and manage a state of the art internal fiber network that is connected to the outside internet via a commercial fiber connection as well as a wireless backup link should the main fiber line go down.
The entire complex as been cabled upto the distribution box at each building. Every unit will need to arrange a one time installation to have the fiber cable installed into the inside of the unit as this requires access to the unit. The cost of the installation is payable by the owner or tenant of the unit.
The same fiber cable is also required for DSTV connectivity, but requires some additional equipment at a small extra cost.
Once the initial installation is done, there is no need for future installations when tenants change as the new tenants simply register a new account with the ISP and the old tenants close theirs. All equipment should stay in the flat.
