We Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ... Do You?

General Refuse

Time Square has a dedicated common refuse area with many black municipal refuse bins. the area is secured with access control, and all residents must place their refuse inside these bins.

Municipal collection of refuse from this area is managed by the cleaning contractor.

Please take not of these important points.

No refuse may be left outside any section, ever, including yards. Personal bins must stay inside sections to prevent attracting birds and other creatures.
Refuse must be placed inside the municipal bins such that the lid closes fully.
The refuse area is not a dump for unused furniture or other items. If it cannot go inside a bin the resident must make alternative arrangements to take the items to the local municipal dump - Killarney Refuse and Recycle Dump (Details)

Recycling

Time Square has its own on site Recycling Depot for Glass, Paper, Plastic and Tins.

Each of the different materials has its own dedicated, colour coded bins in the refuse area. These bins are regularly emptied by an outside recycling distributor that further sorts and then distributes the materials to various companies that reuse them.
